Mohamed Okasha is the Founder and Managing Partner of DisrupTech Ventures, where he leads the firm's investment strategy as Chairman of the Investment Committee.  He also represents the fund on the boards of several portfolio companies, including Banknbox, Bokra, Connect Money, Winich Farms, and Chari. Okasha serves as independant board member  on the Boards of Raya Holding and Al Ahly Payments Holding. 

Most recently, he was appointed to the Prime Minister's Advisory Committee for Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation, reflecting his continued role in shaping Egypt's innovation ecosystem. With more than three decades of leadership experience across technology, telecommunications, and financial services, Okasha has been at the forefront of Egypt's digital transformation.

Before launching DisrupTech Ventures, he co-founded Fawry and led the company as Managing Director from its inception in 2009 through multiple funding rounds and its landmark IPO in 2019, helping build Egypt's first technology unicorn with a valuation exceeding US$2 billion.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Vodafone Egypt, where he led key commercial initiatives, and at Raya Holding, where he spent a decade helping grow the group's technology businesses before leading its IT subsidiary as General Manager.

Okasha holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo, and an MBA from the ESLSCA Business School Paris. In addition to completing the Management Development Program at the IMD Business School.
